Miami University Student Reporter Meghan Sweeney visited our facility last month to learn more about Rumpke’s green initiatives. During her behind-the-scenes tour of our site, she learned how Rumpke is harnessing the gas produced by decomposing garbage to power homes, businesses and soon garbage trucks.

During her visit, Sweeny interviewed Senior Site Engineer John Butler and Corporate Communication Coordinator Molly Yeager about Rumpke’s plans to run its truck fleet off of landfill gas.
