Trash Pickup in Covington, KY

The City of Covington contracts with Rumpke for all waste collection and recycling services. Each Covington household is provided with a City-issued trash cart. Material should be bagged and placed in the cart and lid should shut. Additional carts are available to use. Customers in curbside recycling will receive a city-issued recycling cart. Thankfully, Kenton County—together with Boone and Campbell Counties—is a member of the Northern Kentucky Solid Waste Management Area (NKSWMA). That means that as a Covington resident, you can simply bring your items to the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event, typically held the first Saturday in November.
