What can I put in my business' dumpster?

Rumpke accepts only nonhazardous municipal type wastes.  No hazardous wastes or regulated infectious wastes are acceptable.  Any industrial or special wastes (i.e. asbestos, paint cans, chemicals, cleaners, oily material, etc.) must be approved by Rumpke prior to acceptance. The following is a general listing of materials that cannot be put into your container:

• Liquid wastes
• Hazardous or PCB-containing wastes
• Regulated infectious waste (i.e. needles, bandages, etc.)
• Fluorescent lamps, batteries, thermostats, and electronic equipment (computer monitors, televisions, fax machines, copiers, etc.) - these items can be recycled through Rumpke
• Tires
• Lead acid batteries (from vehicles)
